Choosing skin care products can be quite difficult. Below is some helpful information...
I am 43 years old and seeing the signs of aging, but I also have combination skin and experience some acne breakouts occasionally around the chin area. I also like to use products for exfoliation to help get rid a dead skin, and to clean my pores. AHA products can sometimes irritate the skin and may take time to build up tolerance.
Well here is my routine...
Morning.....
Acne face wash and every few days the AHA Scrub
DSM and MSM toner
Age defying serum (has msm,Hyaluronate acid,rooibos tea,pomegranate)
AHA cream
Night.....
Acne Face Wash
Acne toner
Facial Firming Serum (has retinol, Coenzyme Q10)
Rosehip and Hibiscus cream
About every 3 days use the Pumpkin Masque.
If you have acne and your face is sensitive or gets irritated easy, this is what you should use.
Rooibos Facial Scrub, Acne face wash, Acne toner, Acne serum, Herbal Tea Lotion, Pumpkin Masque.
If you have acne and do not have sensitive skin you could try this mixture..... AHA Scrub, Acne cleanser, Acne toner, Acne Serum, AHA Cream, Pumpkin masque
For sensitive skin you may want to try the Rooibos Facial Scrub, Tea Cleanser, Lavender and Chamomile Toner, Age defying serum, Herbal Tea lotion.
The tea cleanser and the herbal tea lotion are great for any skin type including sensitive skin but also dry skin or for people that suffer with eczema.
If you have mature skin and do not have sensitive skin and would like some exfoliation choose these products...
AHA Scrub, Age defying cleanser, DMA and MSM Toner, Age defying serum during the day, Facial firming serum at night, AHA Cream, Pumpkin Masque.
If you have mature skin and have sensitive and dry skin try these products.... Rooibos Facial Scrub, Age defying cleanser, Lavender and Chamomile Toner, Age defying serum, Rosehip and Hibiscus Cream, Pumpkin Masque.
I do like to use both the age defying serum (during the day) and the Firming serum (at night). They both are so very benificial for your skin. Although the facial firming serum is not meant to be used on sensitive skin, both serums can be used all over your face and eye area as well as your neck. And both serums can be used and is benificial for any one at any age.
Whichever combination you choose don't forget the vitamin packed eye cream, great for any skin type.
You also may ask yourself... What is the difference between Serum and Cream and do I need both.
While facial serums can give you added moisture, the main reason you'd want to use a facial serum is to get added nutrients into deeper layers of your skin that a regular moisturizer is not able to reach. You can get many types of serums such as anti-aging serums, skin brightening serums and even acne preventative serums. You apply the serum after your toner and before your moisturizer.
A moisturizer has larger molecules than a serum. This means that a moisturizer will not penetrate the skin as far as a serum will. While serums deposit nutrients, moisturizers are meant to deposit moisture and hydration your skin.
Of course skin care companies would like to make you believe that you need both, but of course that is not true. If your skin is very oily, a serum can give you enough hydration, so you may not want a cream but I prefer to use the Herbal Tea lotion because it is loaded with antioxidants and calming to your skin and my face is very oily. And, if your skin is happy with your regular moisturizer alone, there is no need to rush off to buy a serum...I prefer using them all. Soon I will be adding on more skin package deals to meet everyones needs. If you try thes products. After 4 weeks you will be thanking me. Also try to get your guy to try them , they are unscented and great for sensitive skin as well as men. In March I will have some ready in different packaging for the guys.
